What is Japanese Cuisine?

Jusy like the different regional specialities that exists in France, the cuisine in Japan varies in their flavours and specialities as well.

My dishes resemble Japanese comfort food that I know from my mother's native region of Kansai. The majority of dishes have soy sauce, miso (fermented soy paste), ginger, sesame. ...

I do not use cow dairy other than butter.

Bento : meal-in-a-box (hot or cold)

Onigiri : rice balls (seasoned and/or stuffed)
